Porter is the migration tool for the Curtis family. Point it at an export from another AI service — or paste a conversation straight from DeepSeek, Kimi, Z.ai and friends — and it emits .curt records plus vault-ready markdown. Your history becomes your ledger.

How it works

  • Zero network — the conversion runs entirely in the page. No uploads, no API calls, no account. Open devtools and watch it do nothing.
  • Formats — native exports from ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and Gemini, plus role-labeled JSON and markdown pastes.
  • Output — strictly valid .curt v1 files; a corrupted source is rejected whole, never half-imported.

Porter vs the plugin importer

Porter handles chat history only — it's the standalone, local-free path. Skills, agents, and MCP imports live in the plugin's importer, because those are shared formats that need no translation. Porter also runs scripted — see the Porter page for the CLI shape.
